Chhattisgarh Pays Tribute to Fallen ITBP Heroes
Chhattisgarh honored ITBP personnel Amar Panwar and K Rajesh, who were killed in an IED explosion in Narayanpur district. The state officials, including Minister Tank Ram Verma, attended the ceremony, reaffirming efforts to combat Naxalism. Their bodies were sent home by a special plane.

Chhattisgarh paid heartfelt tributes on Sunday to two brave personnel of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) who lost their lives in an IED blast in Narayanpur district, according to a government official.
The solemn ceremony, held at the 4th Battalion of the Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) in Mana camp on Raipur's outskirts, was attended by State Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tank Ram Verma, among others.
ITBP troopers Amar Panwar and K Rajesh were tragically killed when a Maoist-planted IED exploded, also injuring two policemen. Hailing from Satara, Maharashtra, and Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, respectively, the troopers' remains were sent to their native places on a special plane.
