Sharad Pawar's NCP (SP) convened its parliamentary board on Saturday, aiming to finalize candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections set for next month, according to sources.
The meeting saw attendance from significant figures including Maharashtra's NCP (SP) president Jayant Patil, working president Supriya Sule, and Harshvardhan Patil, who recently joined after leaving the BJP.
The state will cast its votes on November 20, amidst the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance, including Congress, NCP (SP), and Shiv Sena (UBT), continuing to negotiate seat-sharing deals.
