The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has revealed its candidates for the Budhni and Vijaypur assembly bypolls in Madhya Pradesh, slated for November 13. The elections, set to be a significant political showdown, will see votes tallied on November 23.

Former MP Ramakant Bhargava will contest from Budhni, a seat made vacant by the resignation of former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, now the Union Agriculture Minister. Meanwhile, Ramniwas Rawat, once a Congress stalwart, will represent BJP in Vijaypur after switching parties and resigning as a Congress MLA.

With nominations for the polls open until October 25, the electoral landscape is heating up. Budhni and Vijaypur both feature a sizable voter base, setting the stage for a fiercely contested battle. Political analysts are keenly watching these races for signs of shifting allegiances in the state.
