In a fiery address, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi leveled sharp allegations against the BJP, claiming it is systematically dismantling constitutional values in India. Speaking at the 'Samvidhan Samman Sammelan' in Ranchi, he accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior BJP figures of exerting undue influence over key institutions.
Gandhi asserted that the BJP is stonewalling efforts to conduct a caste census and raise the reservation cap, arguing that these initiatives are beyond suppression. Highlighting an imbalance in socio-economic representation, he criticized the BJP's alleged attempts to erase the rich cultural history of tribals and marginalize OBCs and Dalits.
The Congress leader further accused the administration of fostering economic inequalities, with a sharp critique on wealth concentration among the elite. As the Jharkhand assembly elections approach, Gandhi's statements add fuel to the political discourse, urging the protection of constitutional integrity.
