Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has addressed the rumors sparked by his early exit from a recent state cabinet meeting, asserting that the alliance remains intact and functional. Pawar explained that his early departure was due to a prior commitment in Ahmedpur.
Concerns arose after several significant financial decisions were made in his absence, but Pawar assured that all outcomes had his approval. He labeled any conjecture about discord within the ruling Mahayuti alliance, comprising BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP, as unfounded.
Pawar emphasized that the state cabinet can override any departmental objections, dismissing concerns over negative feedback from the finance department on schemes announced ahead of imminent assembly elections.
