Congress Supports NC for J&K Government Formation

The Jammu and Kashmir Congress has handed the responsibility of nominating the leader of its legislative party to the central leadership of the party in New Delhi. This decision came during a Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting on Friday.
The CLP also decided to support the National Conference (NC) in forming the government in J&K. JKPCC president Tariq Hameed Karra confirmed to reporters that a resolution was passed, granting decision-making power to the central leadership.
Despite the NC's majority with independent support, Karra stressed the importance of the alliance's spirit, highlighting its pan-India significance and reiterating the party's commitment to challenging the BJP.
