In a significant political development, three independent MLAs from Haryana have aligned with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), strengthening the party's position to form its third successive government in the state. The BJP now boasts 51 legislators, including independents, solidifying its hold on power after securing 48 seats in the 90-member assembly.

BJP's alliance with independents Devender Kadyan and Rajesh Joon was confirmed during a media briefing by Haryana BJP President Mohan Lal Badoli. Speaking at the event, Badoli emphasized the successful collaboration with these MLAs, crediting their decisions to support BJP under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.

Both Kadyan and Joon expressed confidence in BJP's policies, citing development as their motive for backing the party. Meanwhile, Savitri Jindal, MLA from Hisar, also pledged her support. The victory was attributed to PM Modi's impactful governance over the past decade, as recognized by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini, who met with Modi following the electoral win.
