In the aftermath of the Haryana assembly elections, BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia launched a scathing critique against Congress leaders, who labeled the election results as 'totally unexpected' and questioned the integrity of the outcome. Bhatia commended the Election Commission of India for maintaining the democratic process and lambasted Congress for its critical stance.
Highlighting a perceived hypocrisy, Bhatia pointed out that Congress only praises the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) when they emerge victorious. He accused the opposition, particularly Rahul Gandhi, of displaying double standards and urged them to act more responsibly in acknowledging electoral losses.
The Congress, in contrast, has voiced serious concerns about the counting process and signaled intentions to challenge the results before the Election Commission. Meanwhile, the BJP claims a significant victory in Haryana, forming its third successive government, while a coalition in Jammu and Kashmir marks a contrasting political shift.
