Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday addressed the narrative around the BJP's strength in government, following the Haryana assembly elections. The BJP's victory dispelled a prevailing myth that the Modi 3.0 administration might be weaker than its predecessors.

Despite the Congress party's perceived resurgence, the BJP achieved a historic third consecutive term in Haryana. This victory promises to invigorate the ruling party while posing significant challenges to the Congress, which has been attempting to build on its recent performance in the Lok Sabha elections.

Sitharaman also talked about India's green initiatives at the 'Energy Transition Summit India'. She emphasized the production-linked incentive schemes for sunrise sectors, including green energy and electric vehicles, and detailed the success of the 'PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana'.
