The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) achieved a remarkable electoral victory in Haryana, landing its third straight win. The party bucked the trend of anti-incumbency, making significant gains in Dalit and Jat regions, traditionally seen as Congress strongholds.

Despite predictions of a comfortable Congress victory, the BJP managed to pull off an impressive result, securing 48 seats compared to the Congress' 37. Strategic campaign moves, like caste sub-classifications and targeting non-Jat votes, bolstered their success.

The BJP's outreach, including increasing the creamy layer income cap for backward classes and highlighting the shortcomings of the Congress rule, proved key in their sweeping victory across various constituencies in Haryana.
