Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra has expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) recent electoral success in Haryana will favorably influence the impending Maharashtra Assembly elections. In a statement to ANI, Vijayendra criticized Congress for its attempts to regain power, claiming their 'false propaganda' had failed.

Vijayendra noted that the people of Haryana have once again endorsed the BJP, resulting in the party's third consecutive formation of the government in the state. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini attributed the victory to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, expressing gratitude to the electorate for their continued trust.

In Delhi, Prime Minister Modi celebrated the win as a testament to the hard work of BJP's grassroots workers. He remarked on the party's connection with Haryana's cultural ethos during a Navratri event, likening BJP's triumph to a 'blooming lotus' for the third time. BJP secured 48 of 90 seats, an outcome hailed as a sign of public approval. Meanwhile, Congress won 37 seats, independents claimed 3, and INLD took 2, according to Election Commission figures.
