The political landscape in Haryana saw its fair share of drama amidst the recent assembly elections. BJP's Krishan Lal Middha and Congress' Mamman Khan emerged triumphant, claiming victory in their respective constituencies.
According to the Election Commission of India's website, Krishan Lal Middha, a sitting MLA of the BJP, won against Congress party's Mahavir Gupta by a comfortable margin of 15,860 votes in Jind. In a contrasting fashion, Congress' Mamman Khan defeated his nearest BJP contender, Naseem Ahmed, in Ferozepur Jhirka by a substantial margin of 98,441 votes.
The polls held on October 5 saw other nail-biting moments, including Congress Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Singh Surjewala's son, Aditya Surjewala, seizing victory over BJP's Leela Ram in Kaithal, and Ashok Arora's significant win in Thanesar. Counting concluded on Tuesday, marking a decisive political shift in Haryana's assembly dynamics.
