Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday urged the people of Haryana to vote against the BJP in the upcoming October 5 assembly polls. She framed the election as a battle against injustice, untruth, and the wicked.
Addressing a rally in Haryana's Julana to support Olympic wrestler Vinesh Phogat, the Congress general secretary criticized the BJP-led state government for failing to address employment issues and farmers' welfare. She alleged that the Modi government caters to a select group of industrialists, handing them control over ports, land, and industries while neglecting the common man.
In another rally at Bawani Khera, Gandhi linked the unemployment crisis to the menace of drugs and castigated the BJP administration for its 'Parivar Pehchan Patra' scheme. Highlighting the struggles of farmers and wrestlers, she urged the public to reclaim their rights and support the Congress candidate in the upcoming elections.
