Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Monday spearheaded a dynamic road show in Haryana's Charkhi Dadri, rallying voters to back the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the forthcoming October 5 state assembly elections.

As part of her campaigning efforts, she promoted AAP candidate Dhanraj Singh Kundu, who is running for the Dadri assembly seat. This marked her inaugural road show for Haryana's assembly polls.

Addressing a robust gathering, Atishi urged voters to support AAP for promises of free electricity, better government schools, and improved medical treatment in government hospitals. "There is only one person in the country who can ensure round-the-clock electricity and good medical treatment in government hospitals. His name is Arvind Kejriwal," she asserted.

Atishi dubbed Kejriwal as "Haryana ka laal" (son of Haryana), emphasizing his track record of providing essential services in Delhi and his potential to replicate these successes in Haryana. She implored the crowd to vote for AAP's 'jhadu' (broom) symbol on October 5 if they desired enhanced public services and elderly pilgrimage provisions.

She also maintained that no government could be formed in Haryana without AAP's backing. The Haryana elections are scheduled for October 5, with vote counting set for October 8.
