BC leader R Krishnaiah's resignation from the Rajya Sabha has ignited a heated debate in Andhra Pradesh, with the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) accusing him of conspiring with TDP supremo and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. The YSRCP leaders allege Naidu is purchasing leaders to overshadow his governance failures and destabilize the state's political climate.
YSRCP representatives P Anil Kumar Yadav and K Karumuri Nageswar Rao expressed their discontentment and claimed that this act of resignation will not weaken their party. They believe that the public will eventually recognize Naidu's tactics and respond accordingly.
Krishnaiah, on the other hand, stated his resignation is motivated by a desire to push for increased quotas for backward classes in a non-partisan manner, distancing himself from the YSR Congress Party's identity. His departure follows a sequence of resignations by YSRCP members, raising concerns about the party's stability.
