The Israeli military has announced that it struck 300 targets in Lebanon as part of an intensified campaign against the Hezbollah militant group.
The army shared the updates on the social media platform X, along with a photo of military chief Lt Gen Herzi Halevi approving additional strikes from headquarters in Tel Aviv.
This marks one of the most intense periods of airstrikes in nearly a year of fighting against Hezbollah. Halevi and other Israeli leaders have vowed to take tougher actions in the coming days.
During these retaliatory attacks, Israeli authorities reported air-raid sirens in northern Israel, warning residents of incoming rocket fire from Lebanon.
Earlier on Monday, Israel urged southern Lebanese residents to evacuate areas where it claims Hezbollah has stored weapons, cautioning about "extensive strikes" in those regions.
