An advocate has filed a complaint against former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chairman, board members, and officials over the Tirupati Prasadam controversy. Advocate K. Karuna Sagar submitted the complaint to Saidabad Police Station in Hyderabad, alleging the use of low-quality ghee mixed with animal fat in the sacred Laddu Prasadam offered at Tirupati Venkateshwara Swamy temple.

In his complaint, advocate Sagar expressed his deep concern. "As a practicing Hindu and devoted follower of Sri Venkateshwara Swamy, I hold the Laddu Prasadam in the highest esteem. This offering represents divine blessings and is a crucial component of the spiritual experience at the temple. A visit to the Swamy feels incomplete without it." Sagar added that the lab test report confirming the use of ghee with animal fat has heightened his concerns.

Sagar claimed that the actions of the individuals involved are malicious and defile the sanctity of the sacred Tirumala temple. He emphasized that this issue deeply hurts the religious sentiments of devotees, particularly those who refrain from non-vegetarian food. Sagar requested an investigation and appropriate action against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, TTD Chairman, board members, and officials for undermining the temple's sanctity and hurting religious sentiments.

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh stated that "nobody will be spared," expressing that his own sentiments were hurt. Lokesh criticized Former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, citing a lack of vision and promising to streamline the investigation process.

Reacting to the allegations, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy accused the Telegu Desam Party (TDP) of politicizing religious matters. He announced plans to write to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, claiming that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had twisted the facts. (ANI)
