Tragic Army Accident in Jammu and Kashmir: One Soldier Killed, Six Injured

In a tragic incident, an Army jawan was killed and six others were injured when their vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district, officials reported Saturday.
The accident occurred on Friday near the Sukrala Devi temple on Machedi-Billawar road as the troops were patrolling the remote area, according to officials.
Local rescuers rushed to the scene, transporting the injured soldiers to a hospital where Sepoy Ramkishor was declared brought dead. The Rising Star Corps held a ceremony to pay their respects to the fallen soldier.
