In a defiant stance, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge declared that the party will resist any attempts to intimidate them by the RSS-BJP's 'poisonous mindset'.

Addressing a press conference in Jammu on Saturday, Kharge announced that his party will launch an agitation in response to threats directed at Rahul Gandhi. He also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for failing to act against BJP leaders who have made derogatory remarks about Gandhi.

Kharge highlighted that BJP and RSS leaders have made provocative statements, which the prime minister has ignored, thus fostering an atmosphere of hate against Rahul Gandhi. He further accused the BJP of making false promises, particularly regarding employment in Jammu and Kashmir, and reiterated Congress’s commitment to statehood restoration, healthcare, and job creation in the region.
