Amid heavy rainfall in the city, hundreds of AAP leaders and workers assembled outside Tihar jail to welcome Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is set to be released soon after being granted bail by the Supreme Court in a corruption case linked to the excise policy.
Despite the downpour, senior AAP leaders, including Kejriwal's wife Sunita, stood alongside supporters holding umbrellas, posters, banners, and a multitude of blue and yellow party flags. Jubilant chants praising the chief minister filled the air.
Prominent AAP personalities, including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, and party leader Manish Sisodia, were also present. Security measures have been intensified as AAP supporters displayed banners with slogans celebrating Kejriwal's anticipated release.
