Pakistan's jailed former premier, Imran Khan, has called for a nationwide street movement, urging his party members to join the fight to safeguard the country's freedom.
Addressing journalists at Adiala Jail Rawalpindi during a court hearing, Khan described the movement as a 'jihad for democracy.' He accused Special Judge Humayun Dilawar of imprisoning him and his wife, alleging corruption.
Khan also criticized Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, blaming them for injustices against his party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He announced plans for a street protest and condemned ongoing arrests of PTI lawmakers as illegal.
