The BJP in Haryana is grappling with significant internal discord due to its ticket distribution strategy for the forthcoming assembly elections. Amid these schisms, senior party leader Karan Dev Kamboj remarked that such rebellion could be avoided if Chief Minister Nayab Saini had a greater influence in the allocation process.

Notably, Ram Bilas Sharma, a senior leader and former minister, made headlines by filing his nomination papers from Mahendragarh before the party officially denied him a ticket. Prominent figures such as Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh and MP Dharambir Singh have come forward in his support, underscoring Sharma's contributions to the party.

The discontent deepened as the BJP announced its final list of candidates, excluding several senior and loyal members. This has led to numerous resignations and public expressions of dissatisfaction among the ranks, casting a shadow over the party's campaign efforts. The BJP is now contending with a resurgent Congress aiming to capitalize on anti-incumbency sentiments.
