The BJP on Monday expressed deep concerns over an alleged sabotage attempt on the Kalindi Express train in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The government has vowed to take stringent measures against those responsible.
A potential major train accident was narrowly avoided when the Bhiwani-Prayagraj Kalindi Express was brought to a sudden halt. It had struck an LPG cylinder placed on the tracks, with police also discovering petrol bottles and matchboxes at the scene, suggesting an intent to sabotage.
'India, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, is capable of crushing those who plot conspiracies,' stated BJP's national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia. He criticized those allegedly seeking power through division and chaos, targeting the Congress and the INDIA opposition bloc in his remarks.
