In a heated exchange, BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia labeled Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, as a 'part-time leader' and a 'black spot on democracy.' Bhatia criticized Gandhi for his remarks on unemployment and challenged him to make public a memorandum of understanding allegedly signed with China.
Countering these allegations, Congress leader Pawan Khera accused the BJP government of ruining the lives of Indian youth. Khera questioned the BJP's reluctance to address unemployment data, stating, 'What enmity does the BJP have with data?' He emphasized the dire situation of rising unemployment over the past decade under BJP governance.
Speaking in Dallas, Texas, Rahul Gandhi discussed the global employment landscape, highlighting the shift of production from the West to Asia, particularly China. He suggested that a focus on production rather than consumption is essential for job creation. Gandhi is currently on a three-day visit to the US, engaging with Indian diaspora and international audiences.
