Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in extensive talks with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday, focusing on enhancing strategic ties between India and the UAE.

The crown prince, who arrived on Sunday, was warmly welcomed by Modi at Hyderabad House. The discussions covered the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and explored future cooperation areas, according to External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal through his 'X' post.

Since Modi's 2015 landmark visit to the UAE, the countries have established a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, signing key agreements like the CEPA in 2022 and the LCS System in 2023, which facilitate robust trade and cross-border transactions. The UAE also remains one of the top investors in India. The strong Indian community in the UAE and the recent defense cooperation initiatives underscore the deepening ties between the nations.
