Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took stock of preparations on Sunday for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Jamshedpur, scheduled for September 15.

Chouhan, accompanied by government officials and senior BJP leaders, inspected Tatanagar railway station and Gopal Maidan, where the Prime Minister will address a public gathering.

Later, as the BJP's election in-charge for Jharkhand, Chouhan addressed party workers at the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, discussing strategies ahead of the crucial assembly polls slated for later this year.
