BJP Announces Candidates for Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections

The BJP on Sunday released its list of 10 candidates for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls. Among the notable names are RS Pathania, who will contest from Udhampur East, and Naseer Ahmad Lone from Bandipora.
The assembly elections, covering 90 seats, will be conducted in three phases on September 18, September 25, and October 1. The results are set to be declared on October 4.
According to the party's sixth candidates' list, Faqir Mohammad Khan will take on the Gurez ST reserved seat, Abdul Rasheed Khan from Sonawari, and Ghulam Mohammad Mir from Handwara. In the SC category, Bharat Bhushan, Rajeev Bhagat, and Surinder Bhagat will contest from Kathua, Bishnah, and Marh, respectively. Vikram Randhawa will represent the BJP from the Bahu assembly seat.
