External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will commence a six-day diplomatic tour on Sunday, visiting Saudi Arabia, Germany, and Switzerland. The mission aims to enhance bilateral relations and tackle significant regional and global issues.

Jaishankar's first stop is Riyadh for the inaugural India-GCC foreign ministers' meeting. The GCC, which includes the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait, saw trade volume with India reaching USD 184.46 billion in FY 2022-23. Bilateral meetings with several GCC foreign ministers are also planned.

Following Riyadh, Jaishankar heads to Berlin to set the stage for German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's visit to India. His final stop will be Geneva, where he will engage with international organizations and meet the Swiss Foreign Minister to strengthen India-Switzerland relations further.
