Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized the critical role of the Jammu region in forming the government in the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. Speaking at a rally in the Ploura area of the Jammu north assembly segment, Shah urged the electorate to ensure a resounding victory for BJP candidates.
Polling is scheduled for September 18, 25, and October 1, with results to be declared on October 8. Shah introduced BJP candidates from 11 Jammu district seats and conveyed the party's determination to win, stressing that Jammu's role in government formation is now pivotal.
Shah outlined the achievements of the Modi government, noting an investment of over Rs 32,000 crore for Jammu's development. He cited ongoing power projects and criticized the opposition for their 'divisive' agendas. Shah called for unity and voter mobilization to support BJP's governance vision.
