Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will embark on a two-day official visit to India, starting Sunday, to engage in comprehensive talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi amidst rising tensions in West Asia.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced that the visit aims to further strengthen the historically close ties between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), opening new avenues for partnership in emerging areas. Modi and the Crown Prince will discuss a wide range of bilateral cooperation topics, including deliberations on the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Besides meeting Modi, the Crown Prince will call on President Droupadi Murmu and pay respects at Rajghat. Accompanied by UAE ministers and a business delegation, he will also participate in a business forum in Mumbai. The MEA highlighted the growing India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, including significant agreements like the CEPA and the LCS System. Bilateral trade between the two nations stood at approximately USD 85 billion in 2022-23.
