India and Singapore have reinforced their strategic partnership, emphasizing a strong stance against terrorism. Both nations outlined the importance of freedom of navigation in the South China Sea and pledged cooperation on various global platforms. Additionally, they signed four MoUs, including one focused on semiconductor cooperation.

In a significant move, India and Singapore have fortified their bilateral relationship, declaring terrorism as the ''single most significant threat'' to global peace and stability. Both nations underscored their unwavering commitment to combat terrorism in all its forms.
During Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Singapore, the countries elevated their ties to a 'comprehensive strategic partnership' and signed four Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), including one on semiconductor cooperation. Modi's counterpart, Lawrence Wong, expressed continued support for India's permanent membership in a reformed UN Security Council.
The joint statement also highlighted the importance of freedom of navigation in the South China Sea, stressing the peaceful resolution of disputes. The leaders called for intensified international efforts to counter terrorism and acknowledged their cooperation on the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity.
