Ram Madhav, the BJP's election in-charge for Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, showcased strong confidence in the party's prospects, anticipating BJP to emerge as the largest party in the Union Territory. Madhav, alongside J-K BJP chief Ravinder Raina, witnessed Raina's nomination filing for the upcoming assembly polls in Naushera.

"The enthusiasm seen during the nomination process indicates a significant victory for Ravinder Raina," Madhav told reporters. Madhav also affirmed that BJP has put forth robust candidates for all constituencies and is poised to achieve significant wins in both Jammu and the Kashmir Valley.

Raina, sharing Madhav's confidence, highlighted the fervent support from BJP cadres near the international border. He criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and the National Conference for disrespecting the region's Maharajas, predicting a decisive backlash from J-K voters. Jammu and Kashmir's assembly elections, the first since the abrogation of Article 370, span three phases, with results announced on October 8.
