Naveen Goyal, a BJP ticket aspirant from the Gurugram constituency, made a significant political statement on Wednesday by organizing a 'padyatra' (foot march) in the city.

Drawing hundreds of participants, the padyatra commenced from Gurugram court parking at around 5 PM and concluded at Agrasen Chowk, making strategic stops at Sohna Chowk and Sadar Bazaar.

Goyal, speaking about the event, mentioned that the idea for the padyatra came from a meeting with his supporters the previous night. Highlighting the community's role in his political journey, he expressed hope that his work would earn him the party's ticket in the upcoming Haryana polls. Among the contenders for the BJP ticket are former MLA Sudhir Singla and others like G L Sharma, Mukesh Sharma, Gargi Kakkar, and Subhash Chand Singla.
