The BJP on Wednesday released its first list of 67 candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, aiming to secure a third consecutive term. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has been fielded from the Ladwa seat, alongside several new entrants rewarded with poll tickets.

Former Haryana BJP chief Om Prakash Dhankar will contest from Badli, while veteran leader Anil Vij seeks re-election from Ambala Cantt. Recent joiners Devender Singh Babli, Sanjay Kablana, and Shruti Choudhry will contest from Tohana, Beri, and Tosham, respectively.

The elections will see some key faces, including Shruti Choudhry, daughter of BJP leader Kiran Choudhry, and Aarti Singh Rao, daughter of Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, entering the fray. The polls are scheduled for October 5, with vote counting on October 8.
