The BJP has kicked off its membership drive in Uttarakhand, with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami praising the party as a democratic entity that values its grassroots workers.

Describing the BJP as free from nepotism and casteism, Dhami urged all members to help in achieving the party's ambitious target of adding 10 crore new members. The 'Sangathan Parva' programme, held at the state party office, saw state BJP chief Mahendra Bhatt ceremonially grant primary membership to Dhami.

Praising former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for his foresight and contributions to national development, Dhami also lauded current Prime Minister Narendra Modi for transformative measures. Bhatt emphasized the importance of reaching every household in the campaign.
