Sanjay Singh, an AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP, has welcomed reports suggesting that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is interested in forming an alliance with the AAP for the upcoming Haryana assembly elections.
Singh highlighted that the main objective for opposition parties is to defeat the BJP, adding that any final decision on the alliance will be made with the approval of AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Reports have indicated that during a recent meeting of Congress' Central Election Committee, Rahul Gandhi showed interest in a potential collaboration with AAP for the Haryana polls.
