Haryana BJP leader Jawahar Yadav has urged residents of the Badshahpur assembly seat to rally behind the party candidate, following his own denial of a ticket for the upcoming elections.
Yadav, formerly the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to ex-Chief Minister M L Khattar, was among three BJP aspirants keen on contesting from Badshahpur, alongside district president Kamal Yadav and ex-minister Rao Narbir Singh.
In a social media post on Tuesday night, Yadav revealed the party's decision and expressed gratitude for the support he received during his campaign preparations. He called on colleagues and supporters to ensure the party's chosen candidate wins in the forthcoming elections slated for October 5, with vote counting on October 8.
