Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Monday launched a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), calling it a party surrounded by criminals, following the arrival of Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials at the residence of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan.

Khan's cousin Minnatullah Khan stated that despite investigations by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), no incriminating evidence has been found. 'His mother-in-law recently underwent surgery for cancer. The ED is now investigating after ACB and CBI found nothing,' he mentioned.

Amanatullah Khan took to social media platform X to claim that ED officials had come to arrest him. He accused the investigative agency of harassment, stating, 'For the past two years, they have been harassing me. My mother-in-law, who has cancer, is at my home. Their aim is to break our party, but we will not bow down.'

Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj accused the central government of misusing its agencies against AAP. 'The central government aims to leave Delhi's government departments vacant. As elections approach, they will increase this pressure,' Bharadwaj alleged.

Earlier this year, the Rouse Avenue Court granted bail to Khan in a case related to alleged irregularities in the Delhi Waqf Board. The ED has accused Khan of failing to cooperate with the investigation, claiming he elevated his role from witness to accused by seeking anticipatory bail.
