Marathwada Leaders Rally for United Opposition Against Mahayuti

At the AGM of Vilas Cooperative Sugar Factory in Latur, Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders from Marathwada region emphasized the need for a united opposition to defeat Mahayuti allies in the approaching assembly elections.

Congress MLA Amit Deshmukh took the government to task over issues such as rising crime against women and alleged negligence leading to the collapse of a Shivaji Maharaj statue in Sindhudurg. Deshmukh also criticized the Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana monthly cash transfer scheme.

Osmanabad MP Omraje Nimbalkar from Shiv Sena (UBT) urged farmers to unify against what he called an anti-farmer government. Echoing Nimbalkar's sentiments, Latur MP and Congress leader Shivaji Kalge, along with Congress MLA Dhiraj Deshmukh, condemned the ruling alliance for conspiring to delay elections to evade anti-incumbency issues.

Former Minister Diliprao Deshmukh praised the sugar factory's role in improving farmers' lives in Latur district.
