Pakistan Invites Indian PM Modi to SCO Meeting Amid Strained Relations
Pakistan has invited Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation’s (SCO) Council of Heads of Government meeting in October. As the current chair, Pakistan will host the event. The summit will focus on financial, economic, sociocultural, and humanitarian cooperation among SCO member states.

Pakistan extended an invitation to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organisation's Council of Heads of Government meeting in October.
As the rotating chair of the SCO, Pakistan will host the two-day in-person event, focusing on financial, economic, socio-cultural, and humanitarian cooperation among member states.
While relations between the two nations remain strained, officials confirmed that invitations have been sent out, with some countries already confirming their participation.
