BJP MPs Advocate for Delhi Farmers with Lt. Governor

A delegation of BJP Lok Sabha members on Wednesday met Delhi Lieutenant Governor (L-G) VK Saxena to seek his intervention in resolving the persistent problems faced by farmers in the region.
The delegation, comprising MPs Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Manoj Tiwari, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, and Yogender Chandolia, submitted a four-point demand paper to the L-G.
The BJP MPs emphasized the need for alternative plots for farmers whose lands were acquired and highlighted issues like property mutation for deceased farmers and the harassment in obtaining power connections in unauthorized colonies.
