The BJP on Friday termed the pre-poll alliance between Congress and the National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir as 'unholy' and accused Congress of supporting an agenda aimed at 'breaking India'.
National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah had announced an alliance with Congress for all 90 assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir, which will hold its first assembly elections in September since being reorganized into a Union territory.
BJP leader Smriti Irani, at a press conference, criticized the alliance for raising many questions and accused the NC of divisive politics. She questioned whether Congress supports NC's promises on Articles 370, a separate flag, and restoring autonomy to Kashmir.
