Ukraine and Russia must engage in dialogue to find a solution to their ongoing conflict, according to India, following wide-ranging talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Prime Minister Modi reiterated the need for practical engagement among all stakeholders to develop an innovative solution fostering peace and stability in the region. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar revealed Modi's commitment to assisting in facilitating an early return to peace.

Discussions covered military situations, food and energy security, and potential pathways to peace. Zelenskyy expressed Ukraine's desire for continued Indian involvement in the Global Peace Summit. The leaders emphasized cooperation to uphold international law and respect sovereignty.
