The BJP State Election Committee kicked off a two-day meeting in Gurugram to strategize for the forthcoming Haryana Assembly elections. The initial session, lasting about four hours, set the stage for comprehensive discussions continuing into Friday. Central to the agenda was the finalization of candidates for five districts and the communication of the BJP-led government's welfare policies during the campaign.

According to internal party sources, the first day's discussions featured insights from officials across five districts, shedding light on the status of their respective seats. The forthcoming discussions on Friday will pivot to the political landscape in the remaining districts. A notable segment of the discussions was dedicated to the welfare policies espoused by the BJP and the methods to effectively spotlight these policies during the campaign.

Prominent attendees included Union Minister and BJP's Haryana Assembly Election In-Charge Dharmendra Pradhan, former Chief Minister Manohar Lal, Election Co-In-Charge Biplab Kumar Deb, National Vice President Saudan Singh, and Election Management Committee Convenor Kuldeep Bishnoi. Other key figures present were National Secretary Omprakash Dhankhar, Organisation Minister Phanindra Nath Sharma, State President Mohanlal Badoli, Union Minister of State Krishna Pal Gurjar, along with senior leaders such as Rao Inderjit Singh, Sudha Yadav, Gyan Chand Gupta, Anil Vij, Dharmveer Singh, Captain Abhimanyu, and Sunita Duggal.

The committee underscored the importance of fielding candidates with strong winning potential. Senior leaders assured both district and state officials that only viable candidates would secure tickets. Inputs from senior leaders were meticulously considered as preparations for the elections progressed. The Haryana Assembly elections are slated for October 1, with results expected on October 4.
