In a significant political development, JJP rebel MLAs Ramniwas Surjakhera and Jogi Ram Sihag have tendered their resignation from the Haryana Assembly, confirming their plans to join the ruling BJP in the coming days.
The resignations of Surjakhera and Sihag, representatives of Narwana and Barwala respectively, were formally submitted to Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta. This move follows the resignation of four other JJP MLAs last week who attributed their departure to personal reasons.
The resignations underscore growing discontent within the JJP, with Surjakhera asserting that the party operates like a family-run entity, disregarding the voices of its MLAs. He also highlighted instances where decisions were made unilaterally without consulting them. Moving forward, Surjakhera claimed the BJP would form the government for a third term in Haryana, emphasizing the state's progress under BJP rule.
