Officers, equipped with riot gear, repeatedly penned in the protesters, labeling the gathering an 'unlawful assembly.' The demonstrators were protesting U.S. funding to Israel, with some setting an American flag on fire during the roll call for Vice President Kamala Harris.

Earlier, thousands of pro-Palestinian activists marched peacefully near the convention site. The police presence, described as "excessive" by demonstrators, kept protesters confined to parts of the city. The event has seen clashes between protestors and law enforcement, but the majority of the demonstrators remained peaceful.
