Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Monday lambasted the BJP for terming his party's vote bank as limited to Muslims and Yadavs. He announced that 'PDA'—backwards, Dalits, and minorities—has this time defeated 'MY,' representing Modi and Yogi.

Speaking at a Raksha Bandhan celebration in Saifai, Yadav remarked on the success of 'PDA' in controlling the central government despite two and a half years of BJP rule in Uttar Pradesh. The term 'PDA' stands for 'picchde, Dalit, alpsankhyak.'

Yadav urged his party workers to remember and promote 'PDA.' He assured that an SP government would work to enhance the security and respect of these groups, echoing his commitment to their cause.
