Indian Diaspora Gears Up for Mega Modi Event in New York

More than 24,000 Indian-Americans have registered for the 'Modi & US' Progress Together event in New York, featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Scheduled for September 22 at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, the event includes cultural performances and notable speakers, celebrating the diversity and unity of the Indo-American community.

Over 24,000 members of the Indian-American community have registered to attend the 'Modi & US' Progress Together event, which will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York next month.

Scheduled for September 22 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, the venue's 15,000 capacity is set to be exceeded, prompting organizers to consider expanding seating arrangements.

The Indo-American Community of USA (IACU) ensured registrations from across 590 community organizations, highlighting the broad support from Indian-Americans in at least 42 states. This historic gathering aims to celebrate the interconnected diversity of the Indo-American community through cultural performances and appearances by prominent figures in business, science, entertainment, and arts. Modi will also address the UN General Assembly on September 26.
