Amid ongoing rumors that former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren may join the BJP, Keshav Mahto Kamlesh, President of the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee, dispelled the speculation on Sunday. Kamlesh stated, "We have no such information. We only know that he has come here to meet his daughter. These are all just rumors."

Earlier the same day, Soren publicly expressed feeling insulted during his tenure, stating that all options remain open until the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly polls. He detailed instances of being barred from calling legislative party meetings and being asked to resign abruptly, forcing him to seek alternative paths.

In a lengthy post on X, Soren highlighted his dedication to public service, from advocating for workers to participating in the Jharkhand movement. He criticized the cancellation of his programs by the party leadership, deeming it humiliating for a serving Chief Minister. Soren mentioned he had considered three options: retiring, forming a new organization, or continuing his political journey with new allies.

Soren reiterated that until the next state elections, all options remain on the table. He emphasized that his struggle is personal and that he has no intention of jeopardizing the party he helped build. "We can never think of harming the party which we have nurtured with our blood and sweat. But circumstances have been created such that I must explore other paths," he concluded.
