Activist Manoj Jarange has alleged that the Maharashtra government is sidelining the Maratha community by exclusively listening to Other Backward Classes (OBC) groups. Speaking in his native Antarwali Sarati in Jalna, Jarange stated that the Eknath Shinde administration is disrespecting the Maratha community.

Jarange emphasized that it appears increasingly clear that the Maratha community will not receive reservations from the state government. 'We need to remove them,' he declared.

Regarding the upcoming assembly elections, Jarange indicated that decisions on fielding candidates would be made post-August 29. He suggested the possibility of independent candidates and warned of agitations if the poll equations are unfavorable.
